Junior Tennis
Hampden Park has a very active junior programme with approximately 140 members. Coaching sessions, including mini-tennis, are available with our LTA licensed CCA coach; Jenny Hughes, UK National Member.
Junior membership is available for £34 per annum.
Junior coaching squads are available for all ages and standards on Saturday mornings, Monday Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Maximum 12 per session
Cost: £3 per hour per child.
LTA Mini Tennis Award scheme - Red, Orange and Green levels.
Junior Aces Sundays 6-8pm
General activities
- Fun tournaments in school holidays.
- Teams in Sussex Junior Tennis leagues.
- Junior Aces - May to October, Sunday matchplay sessions.
- Crash courses in Easter and summer holidays.
- Adult/junior tournaments
- Junior Club Championships - Singles and Doubles.
- Junior ladder competitions
- Junior of the year award.
In brief, every opportunity is given for juniors of all levels of ability to develop a taste for the exciting sport of tennis.
